Analyze company financial information and prepare balance sheets reflecting current and long-term assets and liabilities, annual profit and loss statements, fund flow and cash flow statements, and other consolidated accounting reports. Analyze company operations, costs, revenues, and market trends and project future revenues and expenditures using statistical procedures including correlation and regression analysis. Analyze accounting and financial data and provide information to construct annual budgets with a view to reducing costs and increasing profits. Track deviations from the budget and recommend midcourse corrections. Apprise management of company financial health, including any cash flow problems. Establish, implement, and maintain a proprietary database of company construction projects and cost information and build accurate cost models for various projects. Present cost analyses for clients to inform project teams about critical systems, materials, and equipment decisions. Prepare and manage accounting reports for government contracts and perform ad-hoc financial analyses. Assist outside auditors in the preparation of audited tax returns.
Requirements: The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and three years of experience in the job offered or a related accounting or controller position. The position requires skills and knowledge in Phoenix, ASIST, E2, Salesforce, SAP, and Getpaid 40 hours/week.
